Device Pairing
On the receiver, press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds until the receiver stops beeping and the green light stops flashing. Press and hold the right button on the radio; you will hear an audio signal when pairing is successful.
If you need to pair a second receiver, follow the same instructions, simply switch to the 2-dog channel.
After pairing is complete, test all functions to ensure they are working correctly. To test the discharge function, connect the included test diode to the electrodes. The diode will light up when the discharge button is pressed. To test the light on the radio, briefly release the button; to test the light on the receiver, press and hold the button for a longer period.
Maximize Coverage
With the Pet 400 collar, you can control your dog from a distance of up to 400 meters. The range of functionality depends on how you hold the transmitter. For maximum range, hold the transmitter as far away from your body as possible. Keeping the transmitter fully charged also ensures maximum range.
Safety:
To ensure maximum effectiveness and safety for your dog, please check the collar's position, tightness, and whether the electrodes are correctly placed. Also, check the skin where the electrodes make contact for any rashes or irritation. In this case, shorten the collar's usage time or consult your veterinarian. The collar should not be worn continuously for more than 12 hours (this is a recommendation for all collars, even non-electric ones).
Device Malfunction
The collar doesn't seem to be working properly:
Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are fully charged.
Pair the receiver with the radio according to the instructions.
Ensure the correction intensity is not set to zero.
Ensure you have selected the correct channel (1 or 2) on the radio.
Pair the collar, adjust the intensity, and try the device again.
The receiver or transmitter is not charging:
Ensure the power adapter and device connector are properly connected.
Test both devices for charger or power adapter malfunction.
My dog is not responding to the correction:
Test the receiver according to the instructions above.
Ensure the electrodes are in contact with the skin.
Increase the correction intensity.
