Many hiking boots constrict the foot, are very heavy due to their thick materials, and thus increase pain in the foot. When developing the Sou-SHOES® Expedition, however, special emphasis was placed on creating an orthopaedic hiking boot that is robust, durable and of particularly high quality - yet still feels light on the foot .
The innovative sole technology
Our specially developed OrthoGrip sole technology is the result of years of development. The "OrthoGrip" sole offers a springy effect to optimise shock absorption & improve rolling behaviour and thus alleviate pain. Plus a particularly non-slip material for maximum safety and stability when walking.
